I own an FS4000 myself but am not particularly electrically inclined. I stopped at Radio Shack and they did not seem to have the type of filter you spoke of. I was able topick up for 16 bucks a piece they call a combined noise filter and surge protector. It plugs into the outlet and acts as a typical surge protector but also says that it 'filters the electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) coming through electrical lines from outside sources. It states that it filters to 40dB (100kHz to 100MHz)

Is this going to do the trick? Is it useful?
