In my experience the quality of PhotoCd scans is higher then the FS4000. Check out www.noise4000.oorg.uk if you want to see some exmaples.
: I am seriously considering purchasing the FS4000. Until now, I have been using a local service bureau for Kodak PhotoCD scans from my negatives. Assuming similar resolution files after cropping, should I expect a significant improvement in image quality (sharpness, shadow detail, noise) with the FS4000?
