Just bought it. I'm seeing what Philip Noll saw (see above). He describes them as streaks. I call it noise. I'd send the unit back but my main issue is that the problem doesn't manifest itself with FilmGet, just VueScan. And the problem isn't there either with VueScan and a Nikon LS-4000.
