: Very strange. Kodachrome doesn't work with FARE. I've never had a problem with Kodak negative films. I'm afraid I'm clueless.

Thank you for your response. I got the following
reply from Canon today.

It suggests that FARE may work incorrectly if your
negatives have portions that are similar to date
imprints, like night scenery of a downtown.
